General Header: Date

Date is a general HTTP header that contains the date and time the message was sent.

Syntax


Date: , :: GMT

Directives


day-name - one of "Mon", "Tue", "Wed", "Thu", "Fri", "Sat", or "Sun" (case-sensitive).
day - 2 digit day number, e.g. "21" or "07"
month - One of "Jan", "Feb", "Mar", "Apr", "May", "Jun", "Jul", "Aug" etc. (case sensitive).
year - 4 digit year number, e.g. "1991" or "2017"
hour - 2 digit hour number, e.g. "07" or "21"
minute - 2 digit minute number, e.g. "05" or "55"
second - 2 digit second number, e.g. "02" or "37"
GMT - HTTP dates are always expressed in Greenwich Mean Time.
